I am recently becoming obsessed with birds in fashion. Bird nests, bird cages, bird prints, bird silhouettes…you name it. I came across these images that I thought were so amazing I wanted to share them. I’m thinking we definitely we need to incorporate a bird nest hairstyle in the upcoming fashion show. I’ve also been collecting some great images of antique bird cages…you can look for a blog about those soon :]

So, I actually had a free day this past Wednesday- nothing scheduled to do-at all! It was a strange phenomenon for me, so I decided I had to fill my day with something fun. A sweet lil girl by the name of Nixi had contacted me to take some photographs sometime, and since I was actually available for a moment in my life I set up a mini impromptu photoshoot with her, her boyfriend, and my friend Megan. Of course, we are sporting Butter Toast apparel! Some of the items will be for sale soon in our online store: billiegoatvintage.com.
